Hi Dr., My 6month old daughter stands on her toes, is this normal?

A. 8 to 9 months is the age when a child usually stands... well normally children walk independently from abput 9 months to 1year 3 months... mine started walking at 1 year 2 months and trust me...standing on toes initially is not a concern... just give regular massage and vit D supplements to your child as the pediatrician suggests...

A. Six Month old child cannot even sit independently I don’t know how your child is standing and if you’re making your child stand with support or something then initial times I would probably stand on the toes only and slowly gradually after the age of 9 to 10 months a child learns to stand properly with support
