hi Dr, my 4-month-old boy has started touching his hair and sometimes his ear from the last couple of days. I'm not sure if it could be a sign of some worry. please suggest here but also fyi- my baby seems to be ok so far and taking his feeds on time with no fever

A. dear mom. if he is active, taking feeds well than it is ok. just do check ur babys ears , for ear discharge,ear wax, dandruff on scalp. t. c

Q. My daughter just turned one. She is touching her ear and head often. We consulted a nearby pediatrician on this. He gave drops for earwax and asked us not to worry about the child touching her head and ear. She hits her head with both her hands sometimes. But she does not cry when doing this. She fell a couple of times before months from cot once and when she tried walking one. We also took her to check if there are issues, but our pediatrician said she was fine. We needed your opinion on the child touching her head and ear often.
