Hi Dr, My 2.5 half year old daughter had ice candy 10 days back.now she got severe throat pain(no cold ,no cough) as she can't swallow any food.Counsulted Dr prescribed Augmentin antibiotic syrup for 5 days.its been 4 days still throat pain not reduced.she can't even have egg while swallow any food other than liquid she holds jer neck n like it stuck in throat and ask for water immiedately..pls suggest how many day it l take time to heal and why she says food stucks in throat

A. it is advisable that after three days of antibiotics we have to take a follow up with the doctor again because there might be need for change in medicine and by the child has not improved after 3 days
