Q.

hi Dr my 16 month old girl is weighing 7.7 kg,my pediatrician suggest it's too low weight ,how should I help her to weight gain as I m giving her everything but she have very distruptive sleep whole night, she only wants to feed whole night is it the reason she isn't gaining weight n do I need to stop her breastfeeding now as she doesn't feed in day bt in night she just want it too much

A. Actually the weight of your child is quite less and I think your child is just addicted to breastfeeding you should start weaning breastfeeding and you should start giving more of food to the child somehow also check if your child is having deficiency of iron as that can also be a very big reason behind loss of appetite other than teeth coming and you should consult a nutritionist for a diet plan
