Hi,dr.In my baby's urine culture reports there is a E.coli infection present in urine.While peeing he will do some sound and pass heated urine for sometimes in a day and sometimes he will not do any sound or hot urine.Doctor suggested Nitrofurantoin drops for my baby.This will be any problem for my baby.After giving 10 days of nitrofurantoin drops it will not cure then he said we should give injections for my baby.I am very fear about those injections please tell me it will be cure for Nitrofurantoin drops

A. it is very less likely that the child will have recurrent infection and if the medicine is given properly the child will be totally cured from urine infection and it is a very good medicine
