A. Hello fellow parent, can understand your problem, been there!!! I tried following things to make night sleep schedule for my child and it is working perfectly for me. # Difference between day & night -whenever your child is awake during day time, turn on the lights or remove the curtains from the windows. During night time, opt for no light or dim your light #Day time play night time sleep- During the day time make sure you are available next to your child to play(use noisy toys) talk and dance (yes I do, and trust me he enjoys music and body movements). At bed time just don't entertain your child, if the child is playing let him play don't involve yourself and don't turn on the lights. # take them out for a stroll- make a routine of taking them out every evening, I do this everyday we use pram and baby hug mosquito repellent stickers. By doing this your child will be tired. And most important of all the moment your child feel sleepy at night be it 9, 10 or 12 just let them sleep don't think that they will wake up early in the morning. All the best!

A. sleeping pattern in small children changes from time to time but will improve with increasing age of the child you have to just see for any environmental factor which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the child might be having some digestion problem or breathing difficulty due to nasal blockage has to be looked into. if the growth of cthe child is proper do not worry much about the sleeping pattern of the child as it always improve with time you can increase the physical activity during the daytime as well axs avoid more sleeping time during the day time and this will help in improving the night time sleeping time .
