Hi dr..I am 36 weeks pregnant accourding to scan..Doctor gave me betnesol 12mg injection for two days..Taken both the doses..But i am worried a lot as this injection is c catagory medcine and affective accourding to resarch..Will this injection affects my baby..😭😭

A. Don’t worry at all. Betamethasone is given to improve lung maturity. It won’t have any adverse effect on your baby. May be the doctor thought there are chances of early delivery.so must have prescribed it.
