Hi Dr, Hope you are doing well. I have a 2.8 years old son. Till now he didn't started talking. He make lots of sound and sometime he says unclear maa. Sometime he responds to direction, like come here. But he doesn't respond when we call by his name. Please suggest. Thanks

A. hi dear Stress or distraction. Overstimulation, delayed feedings or a long separation from you might cause fussiness and difficulty nursing. A strong reaction from you to being bitten during breast-feeding might have the same effect. Sometimes a baby is simply too distracted to breast-feed.
