hi dr. can i take folic acid 400 mcg before 3 months of planning pregnancy...does the dose ok? if not then what kind of folic acid should be suitable....recently I go through most of pregnancy related test,all reports came normal.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl5 years agoA. hi, it is better to contact your treating doctor or gynecologist before taking any type of medicines. as he or she is right person who can give proper guidance regarding this. please don't try self medication. take healthy and well balanced diet. keep your body well hydrated. take apt sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day. maintain good hygiene.
