Hi Doctors my chil is having cold and cough can I give Ascoril D juniors for cough..if yes then what ML to be given? please respond..I am doubtful for this medicine is because as per online this syrup should not be given to children below 12 years

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that coughh expectorant and decongestanct with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
