Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week.
you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.
the frequency of urination should be more than 5 or 6 times per day.
the colour of the urine should be pale yelldow to transparent. if the above two criteria is achieved then no need to worry but if it is less than kindly give more fluid food, water and juice to the child.
please do not worry if the child is not passing urine at night time. x
