Q.

Hi Doctors, My 6 years daughter getting fever (99°F) from yesterday n also having headache. We given Meftal syrup which gives relief only for 4-5 hours. Request you to advise for the same.

A. See you can repeat the medicine after six hours if the temperature rises and it is nature of fever to be there in every 4 to 5 hours so continue with this medication and also if you do not see the fever subsiding totally by completing the time of 72 hours then you should go ahead with further assessment with your doctor
