Q.

Hi Doctors, Doctor gave first dose of Menactra vaccine to my baby when he was 11 month old. This vaccine was not there in the vaccination chart so he added it manually at one of the corner of the chart and mentioned that the second dose needs to be taken after 6 months. After that we changed our doctor and unfortunately we and our new doctor both missed that second dose. My kid is now 2 years 5 months old. Recently I observed this and now not sure if we should skip the second dose or should go for it? Any help is very much appreciated. Many thanks! Sandeep Jain

A. You Ask your paediatrician if they advise you to go ahead with second dosage of the vaccination then you should get it done now also some vaccinations can be done later also even if it is the following dosage but for further clarity will have to talk to your doctor only Maam because he only can tell you whether you can get it done now or not
