Q.

Hi Doctor We have come to Goa and will leave here on Tuesday. Atharv, who is 2.5 years old, had a fever, and now he has developed sores(chale)in his mouth. He hasn't eaten anything for the last two days. Please suggest some medicine.

A. kindly applies zytee gel / dologel over the ulcer / paining area in the oral cavity. you can use your finger to apply the gel and rotate the finger blindly in the oral cavity. do not worry about the ingestion of this gel. this will only help in decreasing the pain as well as will help in faster healing. it is alsxo advisable to start a multivitamin supplement after consulting the doctor for this problem. give fluids / juices in diet to the child. see that child is not suffering from constipation. meet dr if not improving

A. Dologel you can apply as of now 3 to 4 times in the day along with that especially when you are giving anything to your child to eat half an hour before that you should apply lastly the weather must be really humid and hot over there so you can give ice cream during this time it will help introducing down the irritation and would be very comfortable you can give cold cold milkshake smoothies anything which is easier for the child to consume
