Q.

Hi, Doctor prescribed Tonoferron iron drops and Shelcal calcium drops for my baby which was given for about 3 months. My baby is now 11 months old and upon stopping these drops there is appetite drop. He's teething too. Please let me know if I should continue the drops?

A. The reduced appetite is most likely due to the teething issue and not because of stopping the medications. You’re supposed to give only vitamin D until one year of age.Write Your Answer Here

Hello ma’am You should continue with it for another three months then because maybe with the medicines the appetite was increasing so give for three more months and then see if there is a difference in everything otherwise it would be advisable for you to consult your paediatrician once again regarding the
