Q.

hi doctor...past two days my daughter having fever!! yesterday got reduced but head to stomach i can feel hot legs and all chill!!! it is fever?? can i continue medicine r not!!i got confused doc!!

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also ybbe ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mgefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. Hello dear parent! Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. If the problem persists even after medication then it needs further medical evaluation. Consult your child’s doctor for further evaluation and advice. Serve healthy foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates to encourage healthy eating
