hi doctor namaste π my baby boy age is 2years now can he get PCV vaccine now? he got cold cough randomly

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. yes pcv which also stands for pneumococcal vaccine is a very important vaccine and is mandatory for all children. at present the vaccine is that much important that the indian government is giving it now free of cost in regular vaccination schedule. meet your doctor who will tell you the schedule for pneumococcal vaccine. c even if it was missed previously you can go for it now also. this vaccine pcrevents infection due to pneumococcal bacteria which can affect the brain throat chest the child
