Hi doctor my son was 47days old my son belly button was sometimes big while he was sleeping it will be normal what is the reason

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age.
with growing age it regresses and goes inside

it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated.
meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required.
