Q.

hi doctor my son is five month 15days old .. 20days back he got cold n cough severely with congestion so doctor advised us to give nebulizer with levolin n budosine he became normal but again since two'days he is getting cough n sneezing lightly what I have to do not to get worsen ..what precautions need to take not getting cough n cold please suggest me

A. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation fdwhich would be helpful . Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .

A. Give your baby indirect steam least three times a day burn garlic ajwain in mustard oil let this oil get cool or warm rub that oil on his chest back Palms foot also keep your baby hydrated by breastfeeding and consult your doctor if required
