Q.

Hi Doctor My son is almost 7 weeks old now. He got vaccinated two days before for OPV, fIPV, PCV, DPT, Rottavirus. We are seeing rashes on his stomach and legs. He was in pain and fever last two days but now a bit normal. I am worried for the rashes. Is it normal and will go away with time or needs medication?

A. It needs to be checked if it is due to some skin allergy due to reaction and apply Cetaphil baby lotion on rashes and avoid itching or scratching the skin and avoid over clothing the baby
