Hi doctor, My son is 7 yrs old,just wanted to know along with cold and cough medicine can we give ayurvedic medicine for cough. kindly suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. yes can give but at different time. gap of at least half an hour should be maintained between any two medicine which will help in improving the chances of absorption of the medicine for better results. also when two medicines are given together they may react with each other decreasing the efficacy of both the medicines

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 5 m old girl2 years agoA. Stick to one kind of medicine either you give Ayurvedic homoeopathic or allopathic whatever your choices do not mix and match and give two medicines together you just have to stick to one at one time
