Q.

Hi doctor, my son is 5months old. he got this infection in December. we consulted pediatrician and dermatologist. dermatologist recommended pacroma ointment but there is no change. now we are using same ointment. white paches on chin

A. This is not an infection first of all, some kind of dead skin cell under the skin which is causing these kind of white patches. Dead skin cell formation may due to hormone changes during post delivery, not to worry. As the baby grows the white patches will disappear.
