Q.

Hi doctor, My son is 2 months old. He is letting poop out once in 4 or 5 days, having exclusively breastfeed only. He is having colic problem. He is crying often after the 2nd day of letting poop.. guide me to overcome this situation

A. uConstipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and someh enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoidfed before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
