Hi Doctor My son is 1year, 2months.. I am very worried on his weight gain after 6months not sure why there is no progress. Apart from this he is active, no other complaints. He is exclusively breastfeed from birth, normally delivered baby. Please see his weight progress below: Sep 3 Birth weight 3.3kg 4kg 1 month 4.5kg 2 months 5.3kg 3 months 5.6kg 4 months 6.2kg 5 months 6.7kg 6 months 6.8kg 7 months 6.9kg 8 months 7kg 9 months 7kg 10 months 7.1kg 11 months 7.4kg 12 months 7.4kg 13 months 7.4kg 14 months

A. Long, short, thin, or chubby — babies come in all shapes and sizes. While society may send a message that your lil’ nugget has to have rolls of baby fat to be healthy, this isn’t really true. As long as they’re meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don’t need to worry. Consistent growth — not exponential growth — is the key to baby’s well-being.
