Q.
hi doctor my son is 1 yr 6 month old.. he has eating and sleeping very well..he is very active. but his weight not increasing and decreasing.. his weight is stay with 9 kg.. his birth weight was 2.4kg.. is it normal or not.. I feel very sad.. he is very lein. I was stopping breastfeeding 6 month before.because he is biting very much.. that's why I am stopping breastfeeding.. can I give again breastfeeding my baby after 6 month.. pls.. give the solution doc.

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. weigth should triple the birth weight by 1 year of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it give milk shake with dry fruit powder for weight gain get deworming done and give iron supplements

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom..relactation is possible. but meet lactation expert for same. babys should be healthy and active..that is most important . give well balanced meal that should include fresh vegetables fruits legume dairy products poultry items and dry fruits
