Q.

hi doctor my son 1 yr one month old.. since today morning he have fever like 101.7 degree..which paracetamol supportive is use? and the dosage

A. ok doctor...is calpol is good? doctor ..last time my son got fever like this one doctor said to me above 100 degree fever you should give the paracetamol supportive

A. you have to give paracetamol for fever as well as pain according to the weight of the child as well as according to the strength of paracetamol medicine you are having. there are different strength of paracetamol available in the market that is it may be in the drops formulation which might be having power of 100 mzg or or 125 mg or 150 mg in each 1ml. in syrup formulation paracetamol has got different powers like 120/ 25mg and 240/ 250 mg in each 5ml. so the doctzor will calculate the dosage according to the power and weight of the child. paracetamol can be given max 4 times per day

A. hello you should give paracetamol once in every 6 hrs for 2 days and the baby will be ok and if it is worsening and no improvement then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
