Hi doctor. My kid is now 2 yr 9 month . He hardly speaking few words. what ever am trying to teach him he is not follow my words . he is not going to play much with kids and he like to play alone much. is it normal in this age ..please suggest me

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. if your child is able to understand and follow all the commands given and is able to you hear whaat you are saying with proper eye contact then do not worry much about the language skills of the child because speech will gradually come. try to avoid TV mobile laptop like screen time and spend more time with the child talking with the child as well as if more people are available to talk with the child and this will also improve the social and language milestones of the child
