Hi doctor, my kid 2.5 yr old.. she had chest cold along with ear pain .. yesterday we consulted nearby doctor.. they prescribed the below medicines ... from morning, she has mild fever n I just gave cold n cough syrup as prescribed .. so, when should I give fever syrup ? Kindly assist Syp. Combiflam 5ml after food twice a day 2days. Syp. Maxtra 2.5ml morning and 5ml night 2days. Ofloxacin ear drop 1drop 3times a day 3days

A. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.Kindly take paediatrician opinion for medication
