Hi doctor my daughter is 9 month old she got vaccinated 3 days ago(9month vaccination) after that she is having high fever even after given paracetamol and from today she is having lose motion aswell please let me know is it normal and what can i do in this situation

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you cdan apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
