hi doctor, my daughter is 6years old suffering with cold continues, we went to ENT he told that inside the nose muscle is growing it takes time to cure. please tell us what is the main problem of my daughter.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prestcribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reducet the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

As you mentioned that you already consult with ENT specialist so you just have to follow the instructions given by the doctor because your doctor has advised you after examining baby. If you want then you can also give some home remedies like add very little amount of turmeric in babies milk and also give 1 teaspoon of honey once in a day
