Q.

hi doctor my daughter is 3 y 3 mo. she had cold cough fever from last 4 days. fever has reduced stopped medication. appetite is not normal still. not eating anything . please advice. can I give curd rice since I have no option left.

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with tfhat cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalgation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Ya Got can definitely be given to the child and since your child has just recovered from an issue it is going to take some time for your child to resume its appetite for the time being you give whatever your child is liking to eat also start with some multivitamin supplement to support the appetite of the child
