Hi Doctor, My daughter is 2 years old and yesterday she had a high fever and sudden fits. Now she is okay but vomiting whatever we give. I am very much worried.Can you please advise on this.

many times prophylaxis medicines to decrease the chances of seizures is given by the doctor which may contain anti seizures medicine as well as anti seizures nasal spray.
meet your doctor who will tell you how to use this medicines in an emergency.
at the same time it is important to get the child vaccinated for all important infectious disease as well as flu vaccine which will decrease the chances of fever in your childf
this disease does not usually occur after completion of 5 years of age
at the time of initiation of fever it is important to give fever medicines immediately as well as give sponge bath to decrease the chances of seizures.

If your child was having fits it would be good for you to have a further assessment with your doctor because during high fever fits can be seen but it is not considered very healthy to be seen so it would be good for you to go ahead with further assessment with your doctor for this
