Q.

Hi doctor! My daughter is 2 years and 6 months old. She was suffering from cold cough fever last month and was given crocin and some antibiotics. She recovered and got back her appetite. Few days back she got diarrhoea from which she recovered in 2 days but she simply lost her appetite. She doesn’t feel like eating at all. If i try to feed her she keeps it in her mouth or else cvomits it. I am trying to giver her fresh fruit juice and feuits but it feels like she has lot interest in fruits too. Alsi she seems to have lost weight. Ki dly help me with thos.

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine givguen. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

A. You don’t have any medication is loss of appetite and loss of interest in food is completely normal and natural so try to find out what your child likes to have the most and try to go ahead with giving that kind of food
