hi doctor, my daughter is 2 year 2 months old. when she was quite young we used to gave her vitamin d and hovite l drops on our doctor prescription. then we changed our city and the new doc gives us vitamin d and iron drops and after some time doc suggest us to give only vitamin d drops. When my daughter was 2 months old we went ok ur hometown and some for cold and cough she had we went for a doctor and he suggested to give her RARICAP DROPS ( iron drops). I also want to give her iron drops because usually she doesn't want to eat food which have iron. so please suggest me is there any problem of giving iron drops to 2 year old.

A. it is advisable to continue iron supplements for your child because it has to be given in the maintenance doses to the child till at least 5 years of age
