Hi doctor, my daughter is 2 month old. She didn't pass stool for the last 5 days. This is the second time. Is it normal or what can be done?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are pxassing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool ixs Semi solid to solid there is no need xto worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

no worries
infact it is normal for young babies to pass stool once in 7 days.
so please don't get Panic
give breasfeeding as and when it is required.
give massage to your child everyday.
