Q.

Hi doctor my daughter is 2.5 months old and she is unable to keep her head stable and keeps tilted on right side also she keeps her head tilted while sleeping.

A. tilt is common and normal neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age. regular massage of the back as well as the neck will help in strengthening the muscles of this area. if neck holding and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 months it is important to meet the doctor for examination to find the cause of delayed milestones

A. Okay so first of all you cannot make your child stand like this you are actually accidentally going to damage the spine of the child you cannot do all these things with a small child a child is going to have a partially stable head by completing the time of three months and full stability by the time of 5 to 6 months so till that time your child should be in the Line position only please do not do all these things with the child
