No issue at all
Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and then in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

Its Little more difficult for me to understand if your child is not sitting on the floor that what is the issue with that some kids don’t like to sit on the floor but if your child is sitting on chair or sofa properly without any support that that’s absolutely fine
