Q.
hi doctor my daughter 7 months old .she passed motion 3-4 times daily .some times she passed motion after food immediately..tell me the reason and solution.

gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children.
in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about this phenomena.
it is also advisable to continue curd buttermilk apple and banana which will help in proper digestion of food.
usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child.

but if the consistency of stool is watery or very very hard meet your doctor.
also rule out worms problem in the child.

That’s basically due to indigestion where you see a childhood immediately poop after eating and sometimes it could be due to a minor infection as well but mostly it is associated with indigestion in this early age yet if you require you can take an advice with your doctor regarding the issue
