Q.

hi doctor my baby was diagnosed as lactose intolerance after her rotavirus 3 rd dose vaccination.. from then onwards we give her only nan lolac formula feeds ...can we introduce milk products like curd and panner to her in her diet.. whether switching to cow's milk after one year is advisable.. on 6 th month one day we gave her nan lolac stage 2 she had episodes of diarrhea as before.. please can you guide us doctor

A. whenever there is confusion of starting a new food product pertaining to milk you have to first start with small quantity and then gradually increase the quantity to see for any intolerance

A. Hello dear parent! It is advisable to check with your doctor before starting to give lactose products to your child. Clarify your concerns and follow your doctor’s advice. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Good luck and take care
