Q.

Hi Doctor, My baby is not taking mother feed. We are using pre nan as per doctor suggestion, but noticed green color stools in last 2 days. Is this normal or should consult doctor again? Thanks, Pradeep

A. Hi, Green colour stools are normal in formula fed Babies, nothing to worry about. It happens because of the presence of iron in it. If your baby is on only Brestfeed then it can be due to fore milk and Hindmilk Imbalance. Feed longer on each breast so that baby get hindmilk ( end milk) which is rich in fat. Take care.
