Hi Doctor, My baby is 9 months running now. MMR and TCV vaccination given together..he got fever 101.5 F on same day and now it's been 3rd day after vaccination still 101F fever is seen ..as prescribed by doctor giving mefmin and paracetamol suspension 6hrs once...please advice if I need to go to doctor again ...fever is not reducing

my doctor suggested to start antibiotic aricef 50 since it's been 3rd day after vaccination and fever also more than 100.5..pls advice if okay to give antibiotic now

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. most of the times the vaccination fever will be lasting only for one or two days if you're is persisting b and 3 days it may not be related to vaccination
