Hi Doctor.. my baby is 9 months old but yet to get teeths.. but she chews alot.. any reason for this?

A. Parents often mistake a baby's drooling and chewing on a fist as a sign of teething, especially around 9 months of age. These are typical activities among babies this age, but they're not necessarily signs that a tooth is coming in. If your baby's first tooth hasn't come in by 18 months, let your child's doctor know.
