Q.

Hi Doctor My baby is 9 months baby is having blood in stool. Is it matter of concern.currently I am having "Oflaxin & Metronidazole Suspension" syrup. Can I give her syrup. Please help me regarding this.

A. Kindly don’t self medicate. Consult the pediatrician in person to find out what is the cause of the blood in the stool’s. Sometimes it could be because of a cut in the anal opening and sometimes it could be because of stomach infectionWrite Your Answer Here

A. kindly consult your pediatrician once. then take safe measures to your baby .Metronidazole Ofloxacin Suspension is used to treat stomach infections, amebiasis, giardiasis, dysentery, urinary tract infections, ear infections, gonorrhea, bronchitis, lung infections, pelvic area infections and brain infections.Ofloxacin & Metronidazole Suspension is used in the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery. Ofloxacin + Metronidazole is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Metronidazole. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria.
