Hi Doctor, my baby is 45 days old and having swelling on the left part of the neck. on consulting radilogist for scanning the under side part of the neck ,he provided an reportlike "left Submandibular gland is increased with increased size in vasularity ". kindly suggest me how to reduce the swelling for the baby.

A. The doctor suggested to use antibiotic "Milicav dry syrup"upon consulting .Will it be helpful to reduce the swollen part

A. if your child is having this kind of swelling it needs to be examine properly and a proper assessment is required so do not take any layman's advice it could be harmful take a proper advice by your doctor

Hello ma’am Gentle massaging in the swelled area and also you can do hot compress to reduce down the thing reduce down the swelling from that area apart from that lot of other home remedies are there but they are only possible after the age of 6 to 12 month so as of now you can just try massaging and giving hot compress
