Hi doctor, my baby is 3 months old she din't poop for 5 days. she is on breastfeed is it normal. last week also she din't poop for 7 days so doctor told to give suppository. plz reply doctor

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparfations in propebr dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given onlyc in medical supervision .
