Hi doctor my baby is 21 months old now frm 4 days shez having cough and cold doctor suggested me to use ( Salbid Plus) Expectorant.. I want to know this medicine used for what cold or cough..? cough still not reduced please suggest me

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. this medicine is full to treat cough in the baby please continue with 3 to 4 days Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
