Q.
Hi Doctor, My baby is 20 months old .He is having frequently cold & cough in last 2 months.Mostly night times and morning time.we have consulted doctor and used cold ,cough syrups.we have taken the chest x-ray as well but no signs of pneumonia.He is having runny nose while coughing .could you please suggest us is it assigns of allergic cough or something else?? and how to treat this?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. please give cheston syrup Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time
