hi doctor my baby is 16 days old and I am known case of hypothyroidism for the past 3years and after delivery baby was also tested with hypothyroidism which is subclinical I mean the value is 5.10 i m really worried will baby face problems in future due to hypothyroidism is there any treatment

A. Hello dear To be labeled as hypothyroidism at birth the tsh levels have to be more than 40 So it is likely that your kid doesn’t have it . Have a talk with your pediatrician

A. Hi parent please don't get panic please consult with your pediatrician about it because physical examination is important for proper diagnosis and treatment
