hi doctor my baby have fever from last night am giving paracetamol 250 for every 5 hours but still temperature not decreased afternoon am giving mefanamic acid 4 ml temperature decreased but now again she got fever given paracetamol and taxim 100 tablet can I give mefanamic acid again plz tell me urgent

A. yes can give it every 6 hrly also Any temperature above 100 F is fever in babies Always measures temperature in armpits only. No need to give any fever medicine if fever is below 100 F. If asociated complaints like cough, cold, loose motion Treat that accordingly as per ur pediatricians advice. Keep ur baby well hydrated. Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day. Visit ur pediatrician once.

A. how much time gap can I take after giving paracetamol if temperature not decreased plz let me know
