Hi Doctor My baby got UTI Infection Gave culture urine test There is ecoli bacteria present Nitrofuratoin tab is sensitive so Doctor asked us to give it for 14 days My baby has taken for 12 days She is refusing to take after 12 days I have given urine sample again and in the test there is no Bacteria present Is it ok for 12 days? Will uti will not occur again?

A. generally in urinary tract infection it is advisable to take treatment for 2 weeks it is only 2 days we can mass them by giving in honey and fruit juices to the baby
